Elmar Meyer

Board Member

Elmar joined Progressive Capital Partners as Board Member in 2020.

He is Founder and CEO of Lexpert Partners AG, Zug, a boutique firm focussed on legal and compliance services for banks, asset managers and family offices. Before that, he has co-founded the legal and tax advisory firm GHM Partners in Zug.

Previously, Elmar served as Member of the Executive Board (Executive Director), Head Legal & Compliance at Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd in Dubai, and was Member of the Board of Julius Baer in Cairo, after serving as Legal Counsel to COO Organization of Bank Julius Baer & Co. AG, Zurich.

Prior to that, Elmar worked as Attorney-at Law in the M&A and Finance Team at Froriep Attorneys-at-Law, Zurich.

Elmar holds a Master’s degree in Private and Public Law with a major in European Law from University of Fribourg, Switzerland and was admitted to the Lucerne bar in 2002 as Attorney-at-Law. He further graduated from the University Stockholm, Sweden, with a Master’s in European Intellectual Property Law (LL.M.).
